Emily Johnson, newly crowned Miss Maine USA 2011, recently resigned for personal family reasons, Ashley Lynn Marble is the new Miss Maine USA 2011.
It is with much sadness that we announce the resignation of Emily Johnson, Miss Maine USA 2011. After careful thought and consideration, Emily made the decision to relinquish her title based on a personal family matter. Emily has done a great job representing Maine thus far, and we wish her much luck in the future.
Emily will be replaced by the 1st runner-up and former Miss Maine Teen USA, 26-year-old Ashley Lynn Marble. Ashley will quickly assume the role of Miss Maine USA 2011 and will make her first appearance this coming Monday at the Maine Special Olympics Winter Games. Ashley will represent Maine at the 60th annual MISS USA® Competition which is to air on NBC. The date and location for the pageant has not yet been announced.

In fact, Ashley Marble was crowned Miss Maine Teen USA in winter 1999 and she has just been crowned the new Miss Maine USA in January 2011
